	First Care Ambulance provides Criticare™, Paramedic and Ambulance services to Hospitals, Clinics, Immediate Care Centers, Emergency Rooms, Nursing homes and patients desiring medical transportation to the facility of their choice.

	Do I call First Care or 911 when I need an ambulance or Paramedics?
	In most communities 911 ambulances such as the fire departments transport only emergencies and usually to the closest hospital ONLY. Not all communities provide Paramedic services.

	If I call First Care instead can they transport me to the hospital of my choice and treat my emergency?
	YES, First Care Paramedics are trained and equipped beyond the training and services of the Fire Department or 911 services. First Care Paramedics are Criticare™ Paramedics and provide Expanded scope services beyond your 911 provider.

	Who pays for the services of First Care Ambulance?
	First Care is a participating provider with most major insurance carriers, HMO’s (Hospital Maintenance Organizations), Medicare, Medicaid and Workers Compensation coverage. First Care will bill insurance carriers for covered services.

	Does First Care provide non- emergency ambulance transportation to doctors offices, clinics, long distance transportation, and for routine frequent medical transportation?
	Yes, First Care Ambulance provides non-emergency ambulance services and Wheel Chair Transportion “Medivans” for those requiring wheel chair transportation.

	Does First Care Ambulance provide 24 hour service , Every hour , Every day?
	Yes, First Care Ambulance is staffed 24 hours per day with Paramedic Ambulances and can immediately respond to your request by calling our Emergency Medical Dispatch center any time day or night .
